Online Consultations: A Guide for Patients

We are now using a new online consultation tool. It is NHS approved and easy to use.

You can contact us about any non-urgent medical, administrative or prescription issue by clicking this link and filling out a short form.

When submitting the form, you will need to answer a few short questions, we will then triage the form and get back to you as soon as we can. Please do not use this form for urgent or emergency requests, contact 111 or 999 if it is a medical emergency. The forms that are submitted will only be read during office hours, the forms will not be read on Saturdays and Sundays, or bank holidays.

What do I need to be able to use this video consultation tool?

  • A smartphone, either with working Wifi or 3G/4G connection (if you do not have a smart phone, your GP may be able to email the link to you for you to use on a tablet or laptop)
  • Your Internet Browser will need to have your phone's microphone and camera enabled (to see how to change this in your phone settings please check the accuRx website)
  • Please note, iPhone's that have iOS 12 software or older, will need to download the Whereby app to join the consultation

Just call the main surgery number and select option 1, then follow the instructions. You can also check, cancel or amend your appointment using this system. You can choose to book with your usual GP (recommended) or with the next available GP.

Appointments can also be booked online using the following methods

If you have given us your mobile number phone number, you will receive a text message to remind you about your appointment, and you may cancel an appointment by text message at any time of day.

If you would like to see a particular doctor, please tell the receptionist when you book your appointment. You may have to wait longer for such an appointment.

Enhanced Access Appointments (GP Hub)

Due to changes in our daily lifestyles a late evening and weekend clinic has been established for Camden to help tackle this.

Appointments can be booked by calling the GP Hub team directly 020 7391 9979, or you can call the surgery during opening times or by calling 111.

You will need to give consent to have medical records shared, this will allow the Dr you are going to see the information on our system so they can better help you.

If you do need to cancel an appointment please call us or 020 7391 9979 to cancel it, 111 can't do that part for you.

Home Visits

Requests for home visits must be received by 11:00am.

Home visiting is very time consuming and central London traffic and parking are an increasing problem. We will need to know the patient's name, age, address, telephone number and what the problem is. A doctor will usually ring you back. Please try and come to the surgery whenever possible.

Please note that visits can only take place at the patient's registered address.

Please inform us immediately if you change your address.
